TrafQuest is proud to announce that we have recently been contracted by Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to update the current Dubai Access Management Manual (DAMM). TrafQuest was the author of the current manual, which was completed more than a decade ago, and now we are being trusted by RTA again to update it. The purpose of the manual is to regulate all access to and from all roads open to the public within the Emirate of Dubai. The management of access is a key element in the preservation of the functional integrity of the Dubai Road network and the protection of public safety. Access Management is the consideration of the location, type and design of vehicular access points along a roadway. It is the recognition that vehicular movements at each access point will have measurable and accumulative impact on the traffic flow and safety of the roadway for all modes of travel within the right-of-way. By the application of access management principles, techniques and standards, the potential adverse implications can be prohibited or mitigated.
Some of the proven benefits of having a strong and modern Access Management Manual include:
TrafQuest is proud to announce the successful completion of the Traffic Impact Study for Emaar’s Arabian Ranches III Master Community. Arabian Ranches III is one of the largest gated villa communities in Dubai. It is a home to a collection of luxury villas, townhouses, and a few low-rise apartments. The master plan community is in Wadi al Safa 5, Dubai. Once completed, the community will generate close to 5,000 vehicle trips per peak hour.
TrafQuest was appointed to conduct Traffic Impact study for ALDAR Beachfront Apartments at Al Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaimah. Al Marjan Island is a waterfront development located at southwest corner of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah consisting of four reclaimed islands totaling an area of approximately 2.7 million square meters. Located within 45-minute drive of Dubai and Sharjah International Airports, the development is envisioned to become a primary waterfront address for living, leisure and tourism in Ras Al Khaimah.
Al Marjan is mainly branded as a family waterfront resort destination offering a variety of leisure and recreational opportunities by the water. The development incorporates a strong wellness theme that shall enhance the development’s appeal within its exclusive lifestyle offering.
The Beachfront development incorporates residential community along with retail facilities. The total area of the plot is 47,385 Sqm and it is expected to generate around 1500 vehicle trips per peak hour.
